Join Scarecrow's Stranger Genius Award-winning team on Tuesday, October 20th, at Sole Repair on Capitol Hill to celebrate the organization's first year anniversary as a nonprofit and the launch of its new membership program!

Never heard of us? That's okay! We're one of the last remaining video and DVD rental stores in the nation, and also the largest in the world with over 120,000 titles for you to choose from - and we're also right here in Seattle! In October of 2014, we made the transition to a nonprofit model to better champion the role of film arts in community, cultural and civic life by bringing people together through a common love of storytelling.

We think that's a pretty good excuse to pop open a few bottles of champagne to celebrate.

The evening's revelries will be hosted by the Libertinis: a Seattle-based ensemble of genre-blending performing artists that specialize in electrifying heads, hearts, guts, and groins! Their unique brand of storytelling shakes together theatre, neo-burlesque, and clown into a deliciously weird cocktail, so get ready for a rollicking night of smart, sexy entertainment inspired by seminal films we all know and love!
