Kumquat Saison Bottle Release

Smog City Brewing and Food Forward have partnered to create a truly unique and delicious beer that gives and gives and gives!

Kumquat Saison was made using 350 lbs of urban foraged kumquats that would otherwise have gone to waste; harvested by volunteers across the city and donations of fruit generously donated, the Smog City Brew Crew have brewed a batch of their hugely successful Kumquat Saison in concert with the great people of Food Forward.

We are proud to announce that Kumquat Saison recently took the Silver Medal at the 2015 Great American Beer Festival in Denver in the Belgian-Style with Fruit category. This is a huge accomplishment for our little brewery and a testament to the success of beers made with pride and passion.

Bottles will be available for pick up at Food Forward Headquarters, starting October 3rd. You will need a valid ID and proof that you are over 21 years of age to pick up your bottles. We will hold your bottles at Food Forward Headquarters for 30 days, till Nov 3rd, after which the bottles will be forfeited to Food Forward.
