Dining Dramatically is a three-act theatrical experience performed in and around the audience during a scrumptious three-course meal.
Blending delicious laughs and spectacular food, Dining Dramatically entices the audience to indulge in the wildly entertaining world of melodrama while supporting local businesses and charitable organizations in the San Gabriel Valley.
This year,SGVRT's Dining Dramatically is partnering with and designating a portion of its profits to University of La Verne's Office of Veteran Students Success.
Synopsis
Kindly Dr. Lazlo Jekyll (Sean Larson), with assistant Dr. Jonathan Marvel (Gregory Yuan), is trying to discover a potion to bring out the best in mankind. What he discovers instead is the wicked Mr. Hyde within himself.
Fiendish Mr. Hyde goes on a rampage of cruelty with the help of his housekeeper, Muriel Snipe (Jessie Daniels).
Will the sweet, innocent Ivy Goodall (Sierra Autumn Kane) be caught in Mr. Hyde's evil web? Can Ivy's blustery uncle, Brigadier Hugh Huffin-Puffington (Ryan Joshua Lyle), and fearless Dr. Marvel save her from Hyde's revolting clutches? Only the Host (Patrick Towles) knows.
