The ladies of Constant Care Assisted Living have a unique sense of community. One might say they move at their own chosen speed and pick up the pace as they go. Pearlie, the underage runaway, flees hand in hand with a thespian, no less! The elders want answers - as they so often do - which Sheriff 'Spud' Tate aims to provide. Fortunately, his aim is better than Papa Homer's, who draws gasps along with his gun. More than meets the eye seems to be afoot here, as the chase follows a map hidden in a cookbook to a houseboat moored at Crab Orchard Lake captained by an old salt named Scully, who manages to raise a squawk or two amongst his crew, as this mystery chases its tail to the end -- coughing up laughs along the way. That's the name of the game, the aim of the play. Come join the farce while the wheel's in spin. Seat belts on hand for the faint of heart.
