This holiday season prepare to be transported on a magical journey with Clara and the Nutcracker Prince. From the heroic battle against the Mouse King, travel through the Land of the Snowflakes and on to the Kingdom of the Sweets. There you will meet the Sugar Plum Fairy and be entertained by the wonders of the Land of Enchantment.
Choreographed by Artistic Director Abra Rudisill with gorgeous costumes and beautiful sets - all to the classic Tchaikovsky score - this is a production sure to bring out the child in all of us. Whether this is your first time seeing a Nutcracker production or it is a time honored holiday tradition, make ACB's 11th Annual Nutcracker part of your holiday festivities.
This year, we are delighted to welcome principal dancers Marena Pérez from the National Ballet of Puerto Rico, and Roberto Vega, former First Soloist of the National Ballet of Cuba. Joining them will be other Bay Area guest artists as well as a cast of over one hundred dancers ranging in age from three to sixty.
Alameda Civic Ballet, founded in 2003 by former Prima Ballerina of Oakland Ballet Abra Rudisill, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The company continues to grow and establish itself as a respected performing arts organization in the Alameda and East Bay community. ACB's mission is to create and present community-accessible ballet performances while educating and engaging the community in the performing arts.

If the event is not Sold Out for that day, the box office opens at 1:00PM for both shows!
Parking Garage is conveniently located at the corner of Oak and Central (1/2 block away) Parking free on Sunday!
WILL CALL is available the final week before the shows. Please select "PRINT AT HOME" option to avoid waiting in line to get your ticket at the theater.
Note: Both Saturday and Sunday shows are matinees! Main Floor (reserved seating) and Balcony (general seating- NO HANDICAP ACCESS): Adults 18+ $29.00; Youth (Under 18) $19.00 The Sugar Plum Party ($7 additional) for both performances is available. Please see www.alamedanutcracker.com for Donor options with reserved premium seating including Sugar Plum Passes!!
Sugar Plum event is an hour long reception after the performance with light snacks and beverages where you can interact with the main characters and get pictures taken with cast members. Space is limited and has sold out each year.
No video recording or photography during the performance. Please leave infants with a babysitter - no babes in arms will be permitted.
