Barrel-Aged Devil's Teeth and Monsters' Park Bottle Release
We are stoked out of our frickin' gourds to announce the release of two more incredible barrel-aged beers. Devil's Teeth--our Imperial Stout/Old Ale hybrid--aged in mezcal barrels, and Monsters' Park--our hulking, cantankerous Imperial Stout--aged in very special 7 year old rye barrels.

Devil's Teeth is a very unique beer. At 11%, it carries rich maltiness & robust roastiness in a thick, tongue-coating, aggressively flavorful package. We sent some to live in mezcal barrels for 6 months, where it picked up the smoky, earthy radness of Southern Mexico's most interesting spirit, which meshed beautifully with the luxuriously full-bodied base beer.

As for Monsters' Park, we were lucky enough to get our hands on two rye barrels from a brilliant American rye producer through our good friends at an outstanding Los Angeles/Bay Area wine store (you might remember their extraordinary barrels from the Monsters' Park releases at our 2nd Anniversary Party). The result is this splendidly delicious version of Monsters' Park aged in 7-year old rye barrels: spicy, rich, and complex, it's a beautiful expression of this massive beer and one of America's great spirits.

BOTTLE PURCHASE DETAILS:
Starting Monday, September 21st 2015 at 10:00am, you will be able to purchase tickets good for up to 2 bottles of Devil's Teeth Aged in Mezcal Barrels, and 1 bottle of Monsters' Park Aged in 7 Year Old Rye Barrels. You will be able to pick-up your bottles at the Lomaland Fermentorium tasting room during the period from 12pm on Friday, September 25th, 2015 until 10pm on Tuesday, November 24th, 2015. Unfortunately, no exceptions can be made to either the bottle limit, nor the pick-up window and PROXIES ARE NOT ALLOWED. You cannot pick-up your bottles at the North Park Flavordome. **Any bottles not retrieved by Tuesday, November 24th, 2015 will be surrendered back to the brewery (NO exceptions).** Please read the additional details below for further information on proxies and bottle pickup names.
RELEASE PARTY:
Your tickets admit you to a release party on Friday, September 25th, 2015 at the Lomaland Fermentorium tasting room starting at 12pm. This will be the easiest and most fun day to pick-up your bottles. We will have some cool stuff on-tap, and it'll be a damn good time. If you've been meaning to visit us to buy some of our super rad glassware, a couple bags of our awesome house roasted coffee, and a shirt or two, this is the time to do it.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
In order to pick-up your bottles, you will need to show your valid photo ID; it must be your ID and the name MUST match the name on the credit card of the ticket buyer (i.e. only you can pick up your bottles; no proxies). Any sales that attempt to work around the bottle limit will be voided. Only purchase bottles if you are 100% positive you can personally pick-up your bottles within the pick-up window; any bottles not picked up before November 24th, 2015 will be surrendered back to Modern Times Beer.
REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES:
Please note that we will not issue refunds, exchanges, or returns. All sales are final.
SHIPPING:
We will not ship the bottles. Bottles must be retrieved at the Lomaland Fermentorium tasting room during regular tasting room hours between 12pm on Friday, September 25th and 10pm on Tuesday, November 24th, 2015.
