Rachelle Garniez @ Pangea performing songs from her latest album, "Who's Counting".
Delighted to return to Pangea, multi-instrumentalist performer/songwriter Rachelle Garniez is known as a "Diva with a Difference" and a "Master of Surprise" and is often described as a female Tom Waits. She'll be performing songs from her long-awaited latest album, "Who's Counting", just released by StorySound Records. Rachelle's voice ranges from the angelic to the demonic, the tragic to the comic; her live shows are a constant recombination of Roots, cabaret, and stream of consciousness improvisation, a truly true original.

In addition to gigs in NYC and environs, she tours regularly in Europe and in the past year, Malaysia, Thailand and Israel.
Rachelle composed the music for Taylor Mac's Obie Award winning The Lily's Revenge, She has worked with neo-cabaret troupe The Citizens Band as a musical director as well as a performer, performed in Weimar New York, collaborations with Sxip Shirey and choreographer Keely Garfield.
She has written songs for recording artists Catherine Russell, Karen Elson, and The Flying Neutrinos and can be heard on numerous television soundtracks.
Rachelle has released 5 cds of original songs as well as a vinyl single produced by Jack White; her new record will be released in Germany and the U.S. in October.
