Shrek Jr.
The Newington Children's Theatre Company is proud to present everyone's favorite ogre in Shrek Jr, June 3-12. In a faraway kingdom, the green ogre Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits, runaways who've been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wise-cracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task - if he rescues feisty Princess Fiona from the Dragon-guarded tower, his swamp will be returned to him. But, a fairy tale wouldn't be complete without unexpected twists and turns along the way!
Join over 20 area youth in this hilarious stage spectacle based on the Oscar-winning smash hit film, June 3-12. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm. Tickets are $12 for adults ($15 at the door) and $10 for seniors, students and children ($12 at the door).
