A Poe Birthday Celebration with David Keltz
David Keltz brings Edgar Allan Poe to life in performances of "The Cask of Amontillado," "The Tell-Tale Heart," "To Helen," "Annabel Lee" and "The Raven" in this Poe Birthday Celebration. Join David Keltz in costume and character as Edgar Allan Poe at The Theosophical Society in Maryland on Friday January 20 at 8 pm, and Saturday January 21 at 2 pm and 8 pm to celebrate Poe's 203rd birthday. After the performance, plan to stay for a Q&A session followed by light refreshments. This performance is suited for children over the age of 12.
Every Poe fan wants to help the City of Baltimore keep the Poe House Museum open. At the end of the performance, David Keltz will write a check for a portion of the ticket price to the Director of Finance and designate it a Poe House Donation.
Spend the day nearby and visit some favorite places: Enoch Pratt Free Library at 400 Cathedral Street, the Walters Art Museum at 600 N. Charles Street, An die Musik at 409 N. Charles Street, and Sascha's Restaurant at 527 N. Charles Street.
