Nancy Conescu is a noted singer of traditional Irish and American ballads. A native New Yorker, Nancy was exposed to the music and traditions of many cultures from an early age. Today, she is known for honoring the roots of traditional Irish and American ballads while shaping the music to her own sensibilities. "I love Irish songs because of their potential to evoke heartfelt emotions. The stories told in these ballads - of love, hate, joy in life, loss in death, of magic and mystery - resonate with listeners today just as they did hundreds of years ago."

Matthew Hayward-MacDonald:
Celebrated singer/songwriter Matthew Hayward-MacDonald has been a musical fixture in the Northwest for a decade. A founding member of Eugene's renowned band, Toad in the Hole, he has also had the pleasure of lending his talents to the Portland based groups, Circled By Hounds and Whitethorn.
Matthew, whose voice has been described as a "...visceral growl with the subtlety of a swallow on the wing," is also an accomplished songwriter. His 2010 debut cd, "Hey Bird," is a collection of both original and traditional songs. Matthew continues to explore his love of traditional music by immersing himself in Portland's vibrant Celtic music scene.
