The first women's flat track roller derby league in Southern Maryland is proud to roll out its seventh bootcamp for one of the fastest growing sports in America...Roller Derby!!!

The SMRD bootcamp outline is inspired by Punchy O'Guts, one of the greatest trainers known to Roller Derby, and has been used in our past five bootcamps! We teach all skaters- from beginner to experienced - all of the skills that make up the foundation of roller derby!

Our bootcamp is split into two levels:

What: Level One || $60 || Individual skills
When: September 16th to October 7th || 6:30 to 9:30 pm on Wednesday nights
Where: Waldorf Skate Center , 3410 Leonardtown Rd, Waldorf, MD 20601

What: Level Two || $60 || Contact skills
When: October 12th to October 29th || 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Monday AND Thursday nights
Where: Monday at Capital Clubhouse, 3033 Waldorf Market Place Waldorf, MD 20603
Thursday at Waldorf Skate Center , 3410 Leonardtown Rd, Waldorf, MD 20601

Things to remember...

>>Must have all safety gear to skate (helmet // elbow, wrist and knee pads // mouthguard).

>>Must bring a copy of your primary form of medical insurance and your government issued ID.

>>Must submit registration application to get a spot.

>>Join us on the 11th and 18th of August at Waldorf Skate Center from 6-9pm for some derby discussion and open skate! Skates will be available for rent through Waldorf Skate Center. Admission is $4 and skate rental is $1.
