Three excellent acts at the Lizard tonight. Soulful songstress Gina Alibrio and her band headline following sets by up and comers Pat and The Hats and former Lizard Lounge Open Mic Challenge Main Event winner Seamus Galligan.

A New Hampshire native and graduate of Emerson College, Gina Alibrio has been performing regularly in the New England music scene for over a decade. She has been a lead and back-up vocalist in several collectives including The Amorphous Band, The Jackleg Preachers, Richard James & the Namechangers, and John Powhida & the International Airport (the 2011 WBCN Rock N' Roll Rumble Champions.) She spent two years in Seattle , Washington; working with Producer Gwen Jones of Allikat records, and formed the band Acadia Slideshow with West Coast singer-songwriter Justin Froese. She has recently returned to Boston to focus more on her solo project, and is currently working on her 2nd studio album.

Running with the Dr. Seuss notion that clever rhymes can woo pretty much anybody, Pat & the Hats are conquering the local music scene one swooning fan at a time. Their suave, yet pungent musicianship has caused their 2014 debut album Fake It 'Till You Make a Hit to make ample waves in the vast pool of New England music from accruing numerous local awards, to sharing bills with Lake Street Dive and Lucius, the band has achieved more in a year than some bands hope to in five.
