(Stand-Up Style) Comedy Showcase, at Naked City Brewery, August 2nd
(Stand-Up Style) is a monthly comedy showcase that takes place the first Sunday of every month at Naked City Brewery & Taphouse in Greenwood, Seattle.
(Stand-Up Style) is at Naked City Brewery,
Sunday August 2nd at 7 PM, and by "at Naked City Brewery" I mean it will be in the building, and by "in the building" I mean there is a side room with a stage and a microphone where dope comedy will be going down (not that dope).
(Stand-Up Style) is a monthly comedy showcase that features international touring Stand-Up comedians. The show is hosted Kortney who has opened for David Alan Grier, Dave Chappelle, and regularly opens for Hannibal Buress. He's appeared on Comedy Time, Fox's Laugh TV, and The 206 on NBC.
This not an open mic or an amateur night. This is a professional showcase, that's guaranteed to be a great night of comedy, and not one that turns your one night out, into a 3 hour marathon of unfunny; which ends up being more depressing than entertaining. Leaving you thinking, "I should have stayed home and watched Seinfeld reruns."
August's show will feature Drew Barth.
Drew is a national touring comedian that started his career in the Northwest. He has been a finalist in the Seattle International Comedy Competition and he currently performs in Los Angeles.
This month will also showcase Michelle Martinez and Corey Michaelis.
Corey tours throughout the Northwest, and produces a monthly comedy show. That is recognized as one of the best in Seattle
Michelle is an up-and-coming that performs throughout Seattle.
The show starts at 7 PM. Which is a reasonable hour unless you're a hermit that likes to get 12 hours of sleep. It's a convenient start time because it allows you to get home and make sure your kids haven't set your house on fire. It also helps people make it to work on time the next day. So you can enjoy a night out, keep your day job, and not have to resort to a life of crime.
