Earrings from Precious Metal Clay
A material developed in Japan in the 1990's, precious metal clay (PMC) is composed of small particles of precious metals, such as gold, silver, or brass, mixed with an organic binder. Moldable like traditional clay, precious metal clay can be crafted into a multitude of shapes and designs. Then, after firing in a kiln, the binding medium is burned away, leaving you with a final product of pure gold, silver, copper, or other precious metal. Using the exciting possibilities of this amazing medium, join MAD for this hands-on, afternoon-long workshop in creating wearable fineries of your very own from precious metal clay.
Fee includes materials and firing.
