8th Annual OBA Picker's Retreat (formerly The Picker's Fest)
Welcome to the 8th edition of the OBA Picker's Retreat and our second year at the Zigzag Mountain Farm. Last year was a complete blast! Spend the weekend with us listening or playing music with old friends and new ones.
Bring your mandolin, guitar, fiddle, dobro, ukulele or whatever makes great bluegrass music, or just hang out and enjoy the Farm and being up at the mountain with music all over the place.
The Zigzag Mountain Farm is a beautiful 50 acre mountain paradise with the original homestead farmhouse, wood fired hot tub, camp sites in the woods, space for RVs (self- contained), organic garden and trees to play under. And it's only an hours drive from Portland.
The action begins on Friday afternoon, September 11, whenever you get there to set up your campsite. Breakfast from the garden is just $7.
As of today, August 21st, two yurts are available at the rate of $60 per night with a two night minimum. Call Chris Palmer to reserve one. They include bedding and furnishings and one has room for three. Because of the narrow mountain roads, parking long RVs is difficult and we can't accommodate RVs longer than about 20'.
