6th Annual AIAOC Art Walk 2015

AIA Orange County invites AIA members, Affiliate members, the Design and Construction Community, and Students to participate in the 6TH Annual Art Walk, a juried event, hosted by Gensler's Newport Beach office: http://www.gensler.com/offices/newport-beach

AIAOC ARTWALK is an evening of community outreach, camaraderie and artistic expression. AIA members and friends are invited to showcase their artistic talents and compete for prizes.

INSTRUCTIONS TO ARTISTS:

YOU MUST REGISTER AND PAY FOR EACH PIECE OF SUBMITTED ART SEPARATELY

Submission size (2D): 36 x 48 maximum

Sculpture size (3D): 36 x 36 x 36 maximum

Larger pieces may be approved on a case-by-case basis. Artist may be required to provide easels for larger framed art. Artist may be required to set up larger or delicate pieces themselves, at specific times, required for judging and final display.

Framing: All photography and paintings should be framed, and artist should provide a method of hanging, or a point of attachment. For artwork that weighs 20 lbs or more, please provide an easel, if possible. Sculpture should have felt contacts on the bottom of the piece to prevent scratching tabletops.

Artwork Pick-Up: After the event (approximately 9pm.) We ask that you pick-up your submission at that time. We will make an announcement during the event with instructions for pick-up of your submission(s).

Artwork Submission: Digital image (JPG format) of your artwork must be submitted by July 31, 2015

Artwork drop-off is Friday, August 7 (2pm- 5pm); or Saturday, August 8 (10am-2pm)

You will receive an email with additional instructions about submitting your JPG's and dropping off artwork. The email will advise where to submit online and how you can ask further questions, as needed.
