Concert: Young Artist Showcase

Nineteen of the Harbor's most talented young vocalists, pianists, and instrumentalists will perform at the Young Artist Showcase at Hoquiam's historic 7th Street Theatre. Students from Aberdeen, Hoquiam, Montesano, and South Bend will perform, ranging in age from middle school to college.

The 2011 Young Artist Showcase will feature Meghan Anderson (voice), Karmen Ayres (flute), Nick Barene (voice), Carly Bouma (piano), Jordon Bridges (voice), Nicole DeMontigny (voice), Kaitlin Donohoe (voice), Kyla Gerber (piano), Lacey Goble (voice), Haylee Hamilton (piano), Micah Hollen (piano), Seth Hollen (voice), Keola Holt (voice), Austin Lenz (voice), Autumn McGiveron (voice), Joseph Park (piano), Jerrod Phelps (voice), Sara Pier (voice), and Sadie Smith (trombone). The concert will be hosted by Miss Grays Harbor Lacey Goble.

Each performer will perform one selection. The program will feature a wide range of musical styles. The concept of the program is to give outstanding music and dance students from local schools and private studios an opportunity to perform before a wider audience, and to give members of the community an opportunity to see these outstanding musicians and dancers perform.
