Josh Caress and Dan Kaplan are two of the area's most prolific young songwriters, and the fact that they've been around the block a time or two hasn't kept them from finding new inspiration. Both have spent the last year or two moving into full-fledged band projects (Caress with Come On Pilgrim!, Kaplan with Magnolia), and this show is a chance to bring some of that energy into the simplicity of an acoustic performance.
The Boston Globe has compared Kaplan to Ryan Adams and Wilco, while Caress has been compared favorably to artists as far-flung as Sufjan Stevens and Neil Young.
