KaleiDANCEscope: A Shared Evening of Dance

Awaken Dance Theater and Cedan Dance Company are teaming up for a powerful, entertaining evening of dance. Both companies are presenting a mix of brand new and seasoned works for your enjoyment.

Pieces range in style from contemporary ballet to Broadway jazz to modern, and tell a wide range of stories and human experiences.

Awaken Dance Theater, with choreography by Rebekka Nodhturft, will also be presenting it's critically acclaimed works, "Only in America" and "UNPLUGGED." Cedan Dance, with choreography by Cecilia Daninthe, is also performing a variety of pieces, including one performed primarily in the dark (flashlights only) and another about multiple aspects in the fight against cancer, and another with upbeat Caribbean dance techniques.
