A Night at the Opera - It's More Than Grand!
Teaneck Community Chorus, featuring our Teaneck neighbor and internationally renowned tenor Jon Garrison, is expanding the boundaries of its usual repertoire to explore the wonders of the bel canto musical style and the grand world of THE OPERA! There'll be Bizet and Bernstein, Borodin and Verdi - but also Scott Joplin and Gilbert and Sullivan. Even if you're not an opera fan, you will be energized and entertained by this upbeat afternoon. And if you ARE an opera fan, you will be delighted with our recent mastery of this classic style of singing.
And there's more - once again we'll be joined on the program by two terrific vocal groups from Teaneck High School, the Concert Choir and the Madrigal Choir.
