JOCIE ADAMS the wildly gifted multi-instrumentalist and singer / songwriter from The Low Anthem celebrates the CD release of her own material tonight at The Lizard. Ex- The Slip founding members The Barr Brothers round out the night!
Best known as founding members of the spirited and unpredictable rock trio The Slip, brothers Brad and Andrew Barr have crafted an intimate and dynamic new album together with several esteemed Montreal musicians. Brad Barr shared a joining wall with harpist Sarah Page, whose melodies would seep through the cracks, weaving their way into the music he was writing. A friendship was struck and soon the brothers began recording and performing with Sarah and bassist Miles Perkin around Montreal.
