Playwright Under Pressure

Watch as a play is written on the spot based on your suggestions! During every performance a different playwright will be on stage, writing a script inspired by input from the audience. The resulting play will be performed at the end of the show, making every performance an interactive, one-of-a-kind experience.

The regular show explores the foibles of the world as seen through a WARPed lens, ranging from self-driving cars, bizarre TV quiz shows and news shows, a fry cook who sees visions, the pursuit of odd obsessions, philosophical discussions by hungry buzzards and stoners, the usual quota of dysfunctional families, and the art of finding new ways to con your friends or win the lottery.

The lineup includes original works by Seattle playwrights Scot Bastian, Patty Carlson, Ellen Covey, Jim Fox, Leonard Goodisman, Monty Saasen, Donna Van Norman, and Jeff Weedman.

Cast includes Greg Beach, Molly Blades, Dave Cuomo, Josie De Lellis, Jared Holloway-Thomas, Charles Mickelson, Kate Muldoon, Monty Saasen, Sue Slakter, Mara Steve and others.
