Center for Changing Lives (CCL) is a little agency making a big impact in Logan Square and beyond. CCL partners with those held back by lack of resource and economic opportunity in order to uncover possibilities, overcome barriers, and realize their potential.
CCL utilizes a tested, proven and holistic approach to building the financial capability necessary for Chicagoans to achieve housing stability.
In 2014 CCL served over 500 families who are experiencing homelessness, a housing crisis, or unemployment, by providing:
-Resource Development Coaching, including access to benefits
-Job Readiness, Placement, Advancement & Career Coaching
-Financial Coaching, on empowerment, access, credit & assets
-Digital and Financial Literacy Classes
-Housing Advocacy & Search Assistance
All these services are provided in a one on one coaching relationship. Coaching builds a mutual, equitable, accountable relationship, focused on strengths, action and accountability, that moves participants toward their goals and their vision for their life. Our approach yields positive results for our neighbors.
