SOME CALL US HEROES BIO:
Some Call Us Heroes was formed in 2013 by ex-members of Arizona local favorites Laconic (Danny Brian- Vocals/Guitar and Sanjay Parikh - Guitar) as a 3-piece studio project. As the project developed, it was soon evident that the music was too promising to remain in the studio and was destined to be showcased live. Some Call Us Heroes' songs were shaping in to a force to be reckoned with and it was the logical decision to assemble a full band.

Some Call Us Heroes aimed to recruit the perfect musicians to round out the line-up, so they scouted out Dan Noonan of Depswa fame (Geffen Records), Zoe Salazar of Sixstitch/Butcher Jones, and Ian Schad of Adavant.

Mixing sounds of Hard Rock, Metal, Alternative Rock, and Dark Acoustic Ballads, Some Call Us Heroes has been creating a buzz among the Arizona scene for their high energy, explosive live shows, and original, in your face, no gimmick hard rock music. From selling-out their debut live performance at Pub Rock Live in June 2014, to releasing their first EP "Destinations" produced by Matt Good (From First To Last, D.R.U.G.S.) at their sold out CD release show at Joes Grotto in September, to Packing 500 plus people into the Nile Theater in October, and most recently turning a lot of heads and dropping jaws with From First To Last and Dayshell on December 14th, 2014; Some Call Us Heroes are quickly making a name for themselves locally and have their sites set to migrate to the National and International scene in 2015.

Some Call Us Heroes are not to be taken lightly. Their musical pedigrees and hard-working "you can't stop us" attitude set the stage for what's to come. Hold on to your seat belts, 2015 is going to be one hell of a ride for Some Call Us Heroes, but rest assured they have the music, talent, and drive to get anywhere they want to go!
