Dance-A-Thon to Benefit Support Connection

On Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm, Solaris Sports Club (201 Veterans Rd, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598) will host Support Connection's debut Dance-A-Thon High School. Two Yorktown High School interns are organizing the event as a part of their civic internship with Support Connection.

At this family-friendly event, people of all ages will enjoy dancing through the decades while having the chance to win a variety of prizes. Food and raffles will be available. The Dance-A-Thon aims to unite the Yorktown community while increasing awareness for Support Connection's free breast and ovarian cancer support services.

Support Connection's Executive Director Katherine Quinn says "We are so grateful for our young interns for engaging the community in this healthy, fun-filled evening."

Pre-Registration is encouraged. All are welcome.

Teams welcome, but not required.

Support Connection is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Their mission is to provide emotional, social and educational support services to women, their families and friends affected by breast and ovarian cancer. The support provided enables women to help each other and empowers them to become their own health care advocates.
