ROB GARZA:

Founding member of music group Thievery Corporation, Rob Garza's career includes decades-worth of accolades as a pioneer of a flourishing electronic music movement. Originally hailing from Washington, DC, Garza's legacy includes the formation of ESL Music, as well as a timeless music catalog that still in rotation today. His infusion of electronic music with the international flavors of dub, trip hop, reggae, and bossa nova gave birth to an new era of sound that has attracted a cult following across the decades. Since relocating to San Francisco, Garza's new experiments take him to the far corners of the globe with sets showcasing the best of Deep House and Nu-Disco.

For Garza - who's devoted much of his life to creating a richly-textured foundation that's defined Thievery Corporation - solo appearances for more intimate audiences inspires new creations based off the culture and styles encountered during his travels. Whether opening for Paul McCartney with Thievery, DJing in Nepal for climbers tackling Mt. Everest, or in more obscure clubs in remote corners of the world, an impeccable taste in music style resonates through the foundation of every show.

For inspiration, Garza continues to mine the sounds he's discovered through traveling the global dance scene. "When I first came to San Francisco, I returned to my electronic roots in the dance community while also spending a great amount of time in Mexico, where there is a great dance music scene" says Garza. "There's so much going on in terms of people taking influences from all these different genreslike house and dub and new wave and discoand putting it all together in a way that's very new and original and inspiring to my own music."

His 2013 "Remixes" album presents a kaleidoscope of his past work with artists like Tycho, Gogol Bordello, Afrolicious, and Federico Aubelle and marked the start of a new chapter in his eternal music odyssey. Later in 2013, Garza teamed up with Canadian deep house producer Neighbour to release "Calle del Espirtu Santo." Inspired by the spirit of his travels in Madrid, Spain, the EP is the first in a series of releases that recount the memories only an international music explorer can tell. Expect more from Garza throughout each season with a series of originals, remixes, videos and collaborations, as well as new Thievery Corporation material in 2014.

The FORT KNOX FIVE have spent the last decade as a leading force in the international funk and breaks scene. Having released an arsenal of floor rocking original music and remixes, the FORT KNOX FIVE has the midas touch for producing heavy hitting records.

The FORT KNOX FIVE consists of Steve Raskin, Rob Myers, Jon Horvath, and Sid Barcelona. They established Fort Knox Recordings in 2003 to release party-rocking music that crosses tempos and defies genres. Their world renowned 'Fort Knox Sound' has overtaken dance-floors with its distinct interweaving of live instrumentation with funky electronic breakbeats.

FK5's talent for organic hooks has made them highly sought after producer/remixers, and landed them in the prestigious URB Next 100. They have dozens of remixes to their credit, including monster remixes for the legendary Tito Puente, Louis Armstrong, and Bob Marley. Further cementing the FORT KNOX FIVE'S production reputation, Afrika Bambaataathe godfather of hip-hophas recruited them numerous times to produce tracks. Their video for the song Shift featuring Afrika Bambaataa & Mustafa Akbar was called "groundbreaking" by Spinner. Their songs have consistently broken the Itunes & Beatport Top 10 Charts in multiple genres, Including reaching #1 positions in Breaks, Reggae, and Chillout on Beatport.

The FORT KNOX FIVE'S music has been featured predominately in numerous high profile films, television shows, ad campaigns, and video games. FK5 music can be found in hit TV shows like Fox's Fringe, and the Oscar Winning Documentary The Cove. They are also no strangers to the world of video game music. There music has been featured in dozens of monster video games like EA Sports NBA Live, Tiger Woods PGA Tour, and Need For Speed. Recently they completed a new original Fort Knox Five music composition called 'Stand Up' for the feature film, Stand Up Guys, staring Al Pacino, Christopher Walken, and Alan Arkin.

As DJs, Jon H & Steve 'Raskal' know how to rock parties with infectious grooves that effortlessly move from funk, reggae, and hip-hop to prime time 4/4 beats & breaks. Their unique 4 Turntable DJ sets have proven irresistible to clubgoers worldwide. They have performed on 5 continents, and in over 30 different countries, playing some of the largest festivals and club nights around the globe. The Fort Knox Five have toured and performed alongside major artists like The Beastie Boys, Snoop Dogg, Public Enemy, James Brown, Jurassic 5, Z Trip, Diplo, A Trak, Craze, A Skillz, Krafty Kuts, Stanton Warriors, Bassnectar, Skrillex, and London Electricity to name a few. Forget about tempos and genres let the Fort Knox Five take you back to the roots and unite all music from the funk, soul, jazz, dub, hip hop, reggae, and electronic generations.

The FORT KNOX FIVE also tour as a full live band. For their live show, the FORT KNOX FIVE perform as a full-on live band bringing many of the artists featured on various projects to perform songs that will inspire, incite and unite audiences to "Funk 4 Peace!"

The FORT KNOX FIVE will be touring this spring and summer in support of their recent 10 Years of Fort Knox Five compilation. This will lead up to their upcoming album release in Spring of 2015.
