Cocktail class at the Bear Mountain Inn

Looking to up your game when it comes to pouring a Gin and Tonic your friends won't forget? Maybe re-creating a Death in the Afternoon cocktail made famous by Hemingway? Or mixing a Mary Jane? Join us for a lively hour exploring the legend of absinthe and learn to create four drinks using the Green Fairy.

Maine distiller Bruce Olson of Tree Spirits Winery & Distillery is the only maker of absinthe in New England. His Absinthe Verte has won medals in both San Francisco and New York City and was Down East Magazine's Editor's Choice in 2016. He will be at Bear Mountain to show you how to create your own concoctions using the legendary spirit. At the end of the hour, the Pub will be open for cocktails with and without absinthe. Bottles of absinthe and other award-winning Tree Spirit spirits, including Limoncello, Applejack, Pear Brandy, and Knotted Maple, will be available for purchase.

For social distancing purposes, we'll be limiting attendance to 30 people. Bring your mask!
