Poverty Bay Blues and Brews

The Des Moines Rotary Club invites you join us fo the 11th Annual Poverty Bay Blues and Brews Fest on Saturday August 29, 2020 where we celebrate the finest local Pacfic Northwest Blues Acts!

Enjoy a day on the shores of Puget Sound, listening and dancing to the tunes of the some of the most outstanding blues artists in the Pacific Northwest while helping us fund our charitable projects including our primary beneficiary Highline Music4Life..

This year we are featuring the following premier Northwest Blues Bands:

T-Town Aces 2:30 -4:00

Rafael Tranquillino Band 6:30 -8:00

To complement your blues we will be featuring over 15 local breweries and a variety of fine foods. The Festival will be located on the shores of Puget Sound at the Des Moines Beach Park. This is an outdoor event and will be held rain or shine, you must be 21 or older to attend and no pets will be allowed inside the event.

No outside food or beverages allowed. Low lawn chairs and picnic blankets allowed. There will be plenty of parking (paid in the marina with amaximum price $6.00) with a free shuttle circulating the marina on a regular basis. While you are in town, you might want to visit the Des Moines Farmer's Market.

Tickets are $35 in advance; $40 at the gate. Six tasting tokens included with the price of admission. All beer tastings are one Token! (Designated Driver tickets are $20.00 and available at the gate only) Thanks to the efforts of our volunteers and the financial support of club members, 100% of the net proceeds support the Des Moines Rotary's charitable projects..
