Kick off Windermere Cup weekend at the fourth annual Party on the Cut on Friday, May 1st! Enjoy Boats, Bites, Brews, and Bands! This year there will be MORE FOOD TRUCKS! MORE BARS! MORE FUN!
Boats: Enjoy a sneak peek of Windermere Cup race day, with twilight sprints held on a shortened course through the Cut from the University of Washington, Great Britain, and Netherland teams! Take advantage of a rare opportunity to see the historic ASUW Shell House where the infamous George Pocock built his first rowing shells and the Boys in the Boat trained for the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
Bites: There will be food trucks including - Dante's Inferno Dogs, BeanFish, Anthony's Finns, Seoul Bowl, Wood Shop BBQ, Sugar + Spoon and more.
Brews: Enjoy libations at one of the three drink tents. We will have beer from Georgetown Brewing Company, wine from Sozo Wine, and mixed drinks.
Bands: Live music by Nite Wave and The ClubHouse Band!

When: Friday, May 1st, from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Who: Open to the public, must be 21 and over. Valid photo ID to enter and tickets are required for entry. NO PETS at the event.
Tickets: $25 per person includes one free drink

Purchase before May 1st and save $10. Tickets are $35 at the door if still available (credit/debit card only for day-of ticket sales).
No refunds after April 28th.
Location: NE Corner of Montlake Cut, near the UW Waterfront Activity Center

Located at the North shore of the Montlake Cut (East of Montlake Boulevard)
Parking will be available at UW in lot E12 for $10 (cash only)

About the Bands:
Nite Wave - Known for their high energy show, Nite Wave performs 80's hits from Duran Duran, INXS, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, The Cure, New Order, Prince, Depeche Mode and more! Most noted for being handpicked by Billy Idol to open for the legendary '80s rocker, they have also performed with Tiffany, Jane Wiedlin of The Go-Go's, When in Rome (The Promise) and 90s Platinum artist Everclear. They have been featured on CNN and Good Morning America and have helped raise over $17,000 for Northwest Harvest and American Red Cross.
The ClubHouse Band - Seattle-based party band, funk, rock indie tunes. Featuring Scott Adams (Sax & Vocals), Mara Baker (Vocals), Bob Bejan (Guitar & Vocals), Jason Bilyeu (Bass Guitar), Dan Charette (Drums), Ted Gauld (Guitar), Dave Gross (Keyboards & Vocals).
Proceeds from the Party on the Cut will establish rowing scholarships for low income youth, through the Windermere Foundation.
