Salty Brine's Living Record Collection: The Annie Lennox Show UNPLUGGED

The Living Record Collection is a dazzling expedition into the heart of the popular music, created and performed by cabaret artist Salty Brine. Taking incredible albums and twisting them in style and form until they are at once familiar and foreign, nostalgic and new, Salty imagines track lists as blueprints for night of musical mayhem, combining iconic pop albums with cabaret, drag, memoir, our classic stories, and more. The Unplugged Series strips the Collection down to its essential self, creating a candid and intimate experience.

Salty Brine is a New York-based cabaret artist, writer, and actor. He is the creative force behind The Living Record Collection, a series of cabaret performances which deftly weave together iconic, popular albums with major cultural touchstones from classic literature to opera and beyond; Each album performed with a live band and Salty's unique brand of memoir-esque storytelling. As bookwriter, Salty is collaborating with the renowned songwriter of stage and screen, Alan Menken, on two previously unproduced musicals. Along with composer/lyricist Justin Levine, Salty has just received a commission from the Williamstown Theater Festival to pen the book to an original (as yet untitled) musical. As performer he has worked with director Andrew Neisler in César Alvarezs original musical The Elementary Spacetime Show (Are Nova, FringeArts); with playwright Adam Symcowitz, composer/lyricist Adam Overett, and musical director Ian Axness in Clown Bar (Pipeline Theatre Company, The Box); and with Taylor Mac, Matt Ray, Machine Dazzle, Rachel Chavkin, Rachelle Garniez, David Drake, and 50+ brilliant theater artists in Mac's own five-hour epic The Lily's Revenge (HERE).

Seating at Pangea is communal. Other guests may be seated at the table. There is a $20 per person food and beverage minimum at the tables. Guests may order dinner in the music room once it opens at 9PM.
Food or Drinks purchased in the front bar/dining room will not be applied to the performance space minimum.

Seating for the show begins at 9PM. Seating is first come first serve for all ticket holders..

LATE ARRIVALS WILL BE SEATED AT THE MANAGEMENT'S DISCRETION AND ONLY IF THERE IS A SUITABLE BREAK IN THE PERFORMANCE.
