49th Annual Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival ADVANCE SALES
Since 1972, the Brandywine Friends of Old Time Music, a non-profit organization, have sponsored the Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival, making it one of the oldest such events devoted to bluegrass music in the world. Since 1990 the festival has been held at the Salem County Fairgrounds located along US Route 40 about 4 miles west of Woodstown, New Jersey and 7 miles east of the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Founded in conjunction with bluegrass pioneers Bill Monroe and Ralph Stanley, the festival seeks year in and year out to present the finest and most accomplished bluegrass bands and performers, not only from the United States but from around the world as well. True to their organizational name, the lineup always includes old time music and related genres that will resonate with bluegrass and country audiences. The Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival is a family-friendly event, with plenty for the kids to do, including a separate afternoon "Kid's Stage" on Saturday. Many attendees camp out on the grounds, beginning on Wednesday morning when the gates open through Sunday night. There is plenty of room for RV'ers and tenters alike, and while there is no additional ticket charge for campers, camping is available to Full Weekend ticket holders only.
Our 44th Festival, held in 2015, was named Event of the Year for 2016 by the International Bluegrass Music Association!

The festival gates will open for campers on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 8:00 am. Campers must leave the grounds by Monday, September 7, 2020 at 12:00 noon.
ADVANCE ONLINE SALES DISCOUNTS END AT 11:59 PM ON MONDAY, AUGUST 31, 2020. HOWEVER, TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE GATE FROM WEDNESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.
The full gate prices are: Full Weekend - Adult: $125.00 Full Weekend - Senior (62 & over): $110.00 Full Weekend - Students (18 & over with valid school ID): - $60.00 Advance single-day tickets (Fri., 9/4; Sat., 9/5; Sun., 9/6) may be purchased online thru this site, but there are no discounts from gate prices offered on single-day tickets. Children under 18, when accompanied by a paying adult, will be admitted FREE.
