Glitter in the Gutter is an intimate evening of dance comedy created and performed by Catherine Cabeen and Kristina Berger. The remixed and remastered, ever-evolving comedic duet, Glitter in the Gutter, embodies the glamour and grit weaving together the lives of two aging performers. Join our two heroines as they battle objectification with wit, dig their 6 heels in to the gatekeepers of the art world, and slay academics with sparkles. The program also features Bergers contemplative solo Threshold, and live music by jazz pianist Greg Woodsbie.

Cabeen and Berger have been collaborating on making humor their passport through life since 2014. Berger is an international artist whose career ranges from Circus showgirl to Balinese Monkey King to principle dancer with the Erick Hawkins Dance Company to Assistant Professor at Dean College. Cabeen is a former member of the Bill T Jones/Arnie Zane Company, the Martha Graham Dance Company, and Richard Moves MoveOpolis! She is currently the director of her own performance company Hyphen, and an Assistant Professor at Marymount Manhattan College. Greg Woodsbie is a wide-ranging pianist based in Boston.

LATE ARRIVALS WILL BE SEATED AT THE MANAGEMENT'S DISCRETION AND ONLY IF THERE IS A SUITABLE BREAK IN THE PERFORMANCE.
