Culpepper Garden is an award-winning independent nonprofit that provides housing and supportive services for 350 low-income seniors in Arlington, Virginia. It was founded in 1969 by the Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington and is celebrating 50 years of growth and success. All net proceeds will help Culpepper Garden support its lowest-income residents.
Got a soft spot in your heart for the Beatles, lava lamps, peace signs? Dying to sport your old go-go boots (or at least your old go-go boot persona)? Are you sad that it's been a dog's age since you shimmied in your bell bottoms?
Whatever your age, save the date--Nov. 16--for the grooviest event of the month. Then get ready to do the Twist, the Frug, the Freddie....'60's style threads aren't mandatory but are definitely encouraged!
On the evening's agenda: Music with DJ Myra! Silent auction! Drinks and snacks! Prizes! Guest singers!
Mellow ticket prices: $10 Teen; $20 Adult; $45 Adult Plus includes 2 drink coupons and Culpepper Garden photo book; $100 Adult Superstar includes 4 drink coupons, Culpepper Garden photo book, Superstar pin and your own photo taken at the event.
