Grand Premier Fundraising Recital
Join us for an evening of delicious wine and hors-d'oeuvres, exciting raffles, and a spectacular recital by Patricio Molina (piano), Mallory Kozuch (soprano), and Alejandro Mendoza (violin) to benefit our piano donation to Chile project.
Patricio's talents have been recognized by a number of people, institutions and competitions, including The New York Times, which described him as "a gifted young artist." As a pianist, Patricio has been invited by NJPAC to play prelude concerts for Lang Lang, Anne Sophie Mutter, Lorin Maazel, The New York Philharmonic, Jacques Lacombe, The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and he has performed for President Bachelet of Chile, King Abdullah of Jordan, and Luciano Pavarotti.
Notes for Growth is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to spreading the positive impact of music education among children in underserved communities in the US and Latin America. We collect donated pianos and deliver them to deserving institutions that teach music for free to girls and boys. Past beneficiaries include the Newark School of The Arts in New Jersey.
Our goal now is to deliver 12 donated pianos to entities throughout Chile in South America, where pianos are very limited and highly expensive. To do this, Notes for Growth has partnered with Safeway Piano Movers to collect the pianos and with Mediterranean Shipping Company to store and ship the container. Funds raised at this First Recital will cover remaining costs and secure future shipments.
