Empire State Stand Up Showdown

The Empire State Stand Up Showdown is a summer long comedy contest series taking place in Westchester and Rockland Counties in New York.

72 Comedians enter the contest.

8 premilinary rounds with 9 comedians in each one. Comics will perform 6 minute sets.

PRELIMINARY DATES/TIMES
6/13- 8pm- Sloatsburgh
6/21- 7:30pm- Pleasantville
6/21- 8pm- Sloatsburgh
7/11- 8pm- Sloatsburgh
7/12- 7:30pm- Pleasantville
7/14- 7pm- Pleasantville
7/18- 8pm- Sloatsburgh
7/19- 7:30pm- Pleasantville

3 Comedians from each preliminary round advance to the 4 second round events. Comics will perform 10 minutes each.
1 Comedian from each second round advances to the finals. Comics perform 15 minutes each.

Preliminary and Second Rounds take place at Lucy's Laugh Lounge in Pleasantville and Character's in Sloatsburgh.

SECOND ROUND DATES:
7/25, 7/27, 8/1, 8/3

The finale takes place at Levity Live in Nyack
The winner will receive up to $1,200!
Runner Ups receive up to $90
(prize money is based on having all 72 spots filled)

All Comedians in the finale will also receive future paid and guest spots from all of the venues participating.

REQUIREMENTS: Two Headshots. Social Media Handles. Email Address. Phone Number. You will be asked to promote specific posts on your social media. You will also be given discount/promotional codes for you to market to friend, fans, and family. Comics may use the same material from round to round.
