¡Palante! ¡Siempre Pa'lante!

"¡Pa'lante, siempre pa'lante!" The famous mantra of The Young Lords, a reminder to consistently move forward and be dilligent in our commitments to the work that we do. In prepping for this month's organizing event, we were all set to work with an organization we greatly admire and were so excited to let you all in on the secret; but, as any organizer will tell you, things don't always go according to plan and the org we were working with had some very important commitments that would have made it impossible for them to join us this month. We're gonna keep them a secret for now, because they have agreed to work with us this summer!
But sometimes the universe knows exactly what it's doing, and that means we move forward with intention and drive. This month's organizing event, entitled ¡SIEMPRE PA'LANTE!, will be a fundraiser and info session for our summer programming!
We have a wonderful summer season planned ahead for you all, including performances that go beyond poetry and some of your internet and literature faves as guest speakers. To make all of that happen and to keep accessible for folks who want to take part, we are going to need y'all to SHOW OUT on the 29th!
