"God is Love" Gala Dinner Fundraiser

Barbara Purdy's Cabaret Jazz Combo performances of Broadway Show Tunes,Jazz, Love Ballads, R&B, and Classic Pop! A community service initiative sponsored by The Bronx Council Of The Arts,The NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, Barbara Purdy's professional debut as a singer and dance at Radio City Music Hall,since then she's toured the world, created and starred in countless one-woman shows, appeared in operas, concerts and television shows and had principal roles critically acclaimed plays such as "Porgy and Bess" and Langston "Hughes" Speaks.

Laugh your way through dinner with the Comedy of Andre Sweet- Coming to you by way of Brooklyn! Bringing you the story of the working class, the Blue Collar and "da" people! His material isn't strictly for the New Yorker though. He relates to audiences from coast to coast. Credit include "Live At Gotham And Comedy Central"!

The evening will then continue with classical music from Music Director and Conductor Robert Rene Galvan of The Bronx Concert Singers, professor of Conducting & Choral Studies at the Brooklyn-Queens Conservatory of Music in NYC. Accompanied by pianist Tamara Cashour,also accompanist for singers and operas workshop in the Mannes College Next Division since 2008!She is a multi-year ASCAPlus Composer Award winner 2008-12 & 2015. Plus additional performances by members from the Bronx Concert Singers!
