Poly Prom II: Cupid Strikes Back

Back by popular demand, we cordially invite you to Poly Prom II: Cupid Strikes back! Last year was such an amazing success and we can't wait to see how this year tops it.

This is your opportunity to relive prom, without the high school drama. Invite the someone or someones of your choice, or come alone [Solo] and make some new friends [someone needing to travel undetected]. We are celebrating all manner of ethical non-monogamists, light or dark side [from swing to poly] and everything in between. Don't identify as non-mono, but consider yourself an open-minded friend? We would love to have you, too.

This event will be held at, that's no moon, that's Grand Affairs in Virginia Beach. So we encourage our guests to also book a room nearby, except for the Alderaan Inn and Suites [closed for Remodeling], if they intend on consuming alcohol, or take advantage of Uber/Lyft/Millennium Falcon.

Dress is semi-formal to formal. We won't judge, so be true to you, but we would love to see you all fancied up, however that feels best. Public spaces are, well, public, so please keep that in mind for behavior and dress. Costuming or Disney bounding is welcomed and encouraged, so represent your favorite sci-fi ideas, we can't wait to see what you come up with. Not into Star Wars or costuming? Feel free to dress in non/traditional prom garb.

There will also be a coloring table for our littles, padawans, & other guests who may not want to dance. We will be a raffling off local handcrafted goods, the proceeds to benefit a lifestyle parallel organization TBD. So, bring your ones!

Tickets to Poly Prom are $30 and include a light menu [served from 7:30-9:00 pm] and lemonade/water; there will also be a cash cantina. Please bring ID and your dancing shoes. Feel free to look up the Cupid's Chokehold group on Facebook, for more related events and to meet some new friends before Prom.

Refunds are no longer given at midnight April 25th.
