The 11th annual Beat the Blues Barn Dance is upon us. So, if you're feeling chilled or looking to liven your senses, join us for a full day of non-stop boot stomping live music (5 acts!), belly-pleasing cuisine and delightful libations, astounding auction and raffle prizes, plus much more.

Daytime activities kick off at 2pm with family festivities and performances by:

RED YARN and his diverse cast of critter friends!
A Texas-born, Oregon-based family performer who weaves folk songs and puppetry into high-energy shows. Touring in support of his fifth album, Red Yarn's Old Barn, Red will encourage audiences to sing, dance, stomp, clap, and celebrate the multicultural musical heritage of the USA. Red has performed 250+ shows per year and toured nationally at Austin City Limits, Pickathon, Northwest String Summit and beyond.

SOUND WAVES
A vibrant, multi-age student marimba group guaranteed to energize every audience member's spirits! Sound Waves continues to inspire young musicians and warm the hearts of all with performances around Sequim and Port Angeles including the Sequim Irrigation Festival, the Dungeness River Festival and the Juan De Fuca Fest.

Hailing from San Francisco CA, this juggernaut of a band blends rock n roll with folk music while maintaining the sensibilities and attitudes that come from growing up on a healthy diet of punk rock. Sam is a natural storyteller with a voice that sounds as if it has weathered many an epic tale. With boot stomping music and lyrics that have been immortalized on the tattooed skin of his fans, this band doesnt mess around.

Shake off your nightmare universe blues and cut a rug with Americas favorite reverse engineered vintage cat technology enthusiasts! A local favorite and national act bringing country blues, pre-war jazz (in the tradition of 1920s) jug band to the stage.

Throughout the event and in true festival spirit we will enjoy an array of local food and drink featuring Alderwood Bistro, Pacific Pantry, and Kokopelli Grill. Our Saloon will be stocked with selections from Harbinger Winery, Fathom and League, Agnew Store and Finn River Farm and Cidery.
