Break it Down: Arabesque & Penché

Is arabesque not your favorite? Your penché getting you down? Literally?! Or maybe you freakin' love your arabesque but you'd also love to know the mechanics of how it's happening. Join Tanya, Leigh, and Elisabeth in this workshop designed for anyone who wants to deconstruct these movements, learn the anatomy that's involved, and then practice some moves that will help you rediscover how to get your leg up and how to keep it solid. There will be plenty of time to digest information, practice, and for Q&A.

While we very much expect everyone to participate, and ask that you wear clothing in which you can move, you are also welcome to simply observe. We do have a minimum enrollment so while we don't expect to turn anyone away at the door, we highly recommend that you register in advance. Bring a friend for a major twofer discount!

Please note that tickets are non-refundable. In the event you cannot attend you will be allowed to transfer your ticket to a later Dance Dissection event or to another dancer who can attend. Please contact us directly a minimum of two hours prior to the event to do so. Late notice of transfer will not be honored. Light refreshments and one drink are included with your ticket price. This event is 18+ and dance community only!
