An evening of songs and stories with Kenn Kweder and Nik Everett
On October 30th, Kenn Kweder debuted at The Living Room with his sold-out Kweder Not On Broadway (K.N.O.B.) show. This time around Kweder will continue his unique brand of music and madness with his long-time friend and fellow singer-songwriter Nik Everett. The two will share songs and stories about their lives in the crazy music business.

Legendary Philadelphia singer-songwriter Kenn Kweder has been a folk/rock n roll institution in Philly since the early 70s, where his unique original songs, dynamic live performances and self-promotion savviness made him the king of South Street and the entire city. Kweders original band caught the eye of, among others, Clive Davis of Arista Records. Although the coveted record deal never came, Kweder has spent his entire life as a performing musician, a feat that isnt easy. And he has done it on his own terms.

After The Secret Kidds disbanded he has led bands with names including the Radio Church of God, the Men From K.W.E.D.E.R., the Men From P.O.V.I.C.H., the Men from W.A.W.A., the Employees, the Codependents, and the Enablers. His first release was in 1977 when he put out the 45 RPM single Man on the Moon/ Suzy Said So. He has released several albums over the years including Kwederology Volumes 1 and 2, a compilation of live and studio material from 1981 to 2002. Adventures of a Secret Kidd: The Mass Hallucination of Kenn Kweder, a documentary and career retrospective, was released to critical acclaim in 2015.

Singer-songwriter Nik Everett is from the Philadelphia area and has performed and recorded for over 30 years. His style is an updated classic rock sound that encompasses hard rock, pop, country, folk and sublime ballads. A powerful live performer, Everett has supported such notable artists as Marshall Crenshaw, Ben Arnold, Robert Hazard, Cliff Eberhardt, Alex Chilton, The Hooters, Tommy Conwell, Suzanne Vega and many more. He has released 7 albums including composing the score for the PBS documentary film Greetings from Asbury Park. He is gearing up for more recording and plans to release an anthology of his music.
