Gilligan Comedy at Spoke the Hub
Saturday night, October 6th at 7:30pm, Spoke the Hub will host our second monthly comedy club-slash-variety show, curated by comic/writer, Gabe Pacheco and showcasing the hottest young funny people currently making the New York comedy circuit. Doors open at 7:30pm and the event will feature local musicians and adult refreshments before the comics take the stage at 8:00pm - don't miss the fun and a chance to start off the fall season with some good laughs!

LYNDOL DESCANT has a gift for creating the right tone and ambiance thru her music; be it quiet and relaxed or up beat and fun, all styles are fair game. She especially enjoys combining the elegance of traditional jazz with the joy of pop to create unique covers and hip originals.
Sing alongs? LOVES them! Lyndol believes whole heartedly in the power of music to bring people together in joy and love. Its 2nd only to Laughter.
GABE PACHECO is a Brooklyn based comedian
/radio personality/film maker. He featured in the Accidental Comedy Festival, and the Asheville Comedy Fest. Gabe regularly provides commentary on Insights on Sirius XM with John Fugelsang and appeared on Current TV. He performs sketch comedy based on the work of school children with the Story Pirates and is a permanent guest host on WBAIs the Katie Halper Show.
AMBER ROLLO, called "a powerhouse comedian and producer" by This Week In Comedy, hosts shows in Brooklyn, Queens and even Manhattan. She is the Co-Host of Daddy-less Issues: The Orphan Podcast, with Chanel Ali, where they talk to comedians and artists who have lost one or more parents about how they succeed in life despite that. She is also the Head of Digital Production for The Box, the intersectional feminist comedy show. Amber performs all over the city, bringing humor to dark topics like growing up an orphan and the infantalization of female sexuality.
CASEY BALSHAM has performed all over Los Angeles and New York and in numerous festivals including the New York comedy festival, Big Sky comedy festival, and the Laughing Skull Festival. You have seen her on Nuvo Tv, Gotham Axs Live, Tidals No small talk series, and on Lifetime.
CHRISTIANA JACKSON has been performing stand up in New York for 5 years. You may have seen her at The New York Comedy Club, Gotham, or any hole in the bar with a microphone. Christiana runs a weekly mic in Brooklyn, and produces three shows, Fresh Kicks Comedy, The Nerds on the Wall, and Sabado Gigante.
KEVIN MCCAFFREY has appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman, and his debut album Nice & Drunk hit #1 on Amazon and iTunes, and top 5 on Billboard this June. He is a regular on several TruTV shows, and is a 2-time winner of Comedy Knockout.
