It's Not Me, It's You: A Paradise Lost Reimagining
Yes Ma'am Circus presents their original take on Milton's Paradise Lost. Focusing on the War in Heaven, this show uses a variety of circus acts to tell the story of Lucifer's Fall from Grace.
Acts include partner acrobatics, lyra, tumbling, juggling, and aerial sling. Original choral works and narration weave a compelling thread, highlighted with riveting physical theater.
With an emphasis on the relationships between characters, Yes Ma'am Circus delivers a funny and emotional look at loyalty, betrayal, and the pain and freedom of moving on. Come see the show that audiences have called "brave, beautiful, and breathtakingly good art!"
Yes Ma'am Circus is a Chicago based contemporary circus company, on their first tour to PA. The company members are Maggie, Amancay, Athena, Myriam, and Matthew. They have trained at Chicago's Aloft Circus Arts & Actor's Gymnasium, San Francisco Circus Center, Philadelphia Circus Center, and Hampshire college.
