Trina Coleman

Trina is a biracial, classically trained and soulfully inclined singer-songwriter who started her career as a music educator and choir director. A life-altering trauma shook her into sharing the many original songs she had silently piled on the piano.

A Baker Artist Award and Bernard Ebb Songwriting Award Finalist, Trina has performed in choirs with world class orchestras on stages such as Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall.

With her guitarist husband Zac, she formed the progressive soul band Sojourne in 2012 with bassist Tim Long and drummer Steve McGrath. The ensemble has gone on to perform concerts and festivals along the east coast including opening for Grammy winner Snarky Puppy's Cory Henry and performing live on NPRs WYPR 88.1 FM. In 2016 Zac, Trina and their two sons relocated to Oslo, Norway where Trina now performs and teaches.

5JBarrow

Inspiration seeped through the windows of apartment 5J on Barrow Street looking out over the Hudson River in NYCs Greenwich Village, where singer-songwriters Eryn Murman and Jason Hite soaked up the energy and passion of musicians, painters, poets and writers who created the Village vibe. Together, they paid tribute to those creative spirits and named their band 5j Barrow, writing music and lyrics with a unique folk/rock sound, touring as a duo, and often picking up Drew Jones on bass and Gerard Canonico on drums.

From the historic Apollo Theater to the open air of Washington Square Park, 5j Barrow has inspired audiences with soulful music, evocative imagery, and lyrics that tug at the heart. Founded by Broadway performers and newlyweds, Eryn Murman and Jason Hite in the fall of 2011, 5j Barrow was named Best Band in NY after winning The Greene Space WNYC/WQXRs Battle of the Boroughs 2014. They have built a loyal following on the streets of New York City and continue to engage with audiences as theyre currently embarked on a year-long tour of North America with performances that are both intimate and rousing. 5j Barrow released their debut album From the Dim Sweet Light in 2014, and their first installment of three EPs produced by Grammy nominated David Mayfield, was released October 6, 2017 entitled The Journey Vol.1. Vol. 2 is expected to release May 19th, 2018.
