This 0.05K Run/Walk Event, the Shortest 54.68 yards EVER is benefitting the St. Louis Blind Hockey Association, doing business as, the St. Louis Blues Blind Hockey Club. We are a non-profit, volunteer-based organization, hoping to develop in our sport, welcome additional players and keep with our mission: to provide introduction and competition through skill development, team work and the love of the game.
Ice time has been secured, twice a month, till the end of May and we are missing much needed funding to pay for additional practice ice. In order to stay competitive with the surrounding NHL blind hockey clubs, like the Washington Capitals and Chicago Blackhawks, we are asking for your support.
We realized, through STLBBHC, that we could attain our dreams of playing ice hockey and hope to have the opportunity to continue our dream so that we can beat the Chicago Blackhawks Blind Hockey team, soon.
We thank our partners, Kirkwood Deli & Convenience and The Geyer Inn for supporting our efforts to raise funds and awareness for our Blind Hockey team and we hope you will do the same!
