Événement

Made in Brooklyn Tour
Made in Brooklyn Tours are award-winning neighborhood tours with a "Made in Brooklyn" theme. Each is a cross between a factory tour and a shopping tour featuring artists, artisans and crafters literally "makin' it" in Brooklyn. We'll visit one of three neighborhoods on Brooklyn's historic waterfront and drop by the shops, showrooms and workspaces of select Brooklyn makers. Tours are designed for small to mid-sized groups for an especially good time together. Discover Brooklyn's Industrial Revolution and celebrate our Creativity, Ingenuity & Entrepreneurial Spirit. See who's makin' it in Brooklyn!

Directions

Tours begin and end in Brooklyn in one of three neighborhoods - DUMBO, Red Hook or Williamsburg - and may be reached by NYC's mass transit system including ferries. Make a Special Request before booking your tickets if you like. You will receive detailed directions to the tour starting point shortly before your tour date.

About Me

Hi, I'm Dom Gervasi! I'm a native Brooklynite from Bensonhurst who started Made in Brooklyn Tours in 2011 after a career working for high tech communications equipment manufacturers. Encouraged by the makers I discover on my travels to other parts of the world, I make it my business to seek out who's "makin' it" right here in Brooklyn. My tours feature local artists, artisans and crafters and honor the innovators of Brooklyn's Industrial Revolution. I personally lead all Made in Brooklyn Tours and am a bonafide licensed New York City Sightseeing Guide.
