THE PALACE CONCERT: A Fundraiser for Early Music Access Project

Early Music Access Project (EMAP) will hold its inaugural fundraiser on Sunday, June 24 at 3pm at Swannanoa Palace. Guests will be greeted by Renaissance dancers from the Shire of Isenfir while enjoying wine and hors d'ouevres. At 4pm, guests will be treated to a concert at the foot of the grand staircase. Violinist David McCormick, soprano Elena Mullins, bass violinist Jeremy Ward, and lutenist Brian Kay will perform music from the Medici court, paying homage to the history of the building after which Swannanoa Palace was designed. Music of Corelli, Marcello, and Francesca Caccini will reverberate throughout the historic marble halls. Tickets are $75, with proceeds benefitting Early Music Access Projects 2018-2019 season.

Early Music Access Project welcomes sponsors at the $250, $500, and $1000 levels. All sponsorships come with a pair of tickets and premium seating. Please note: Swannanoa Palace may present challenges for those with mobility issues. Volunteers will be on hand to assist patrons, but those in wheelchairs may wish to call ahead for special assistance.
