The Quarter Life Crisis Monologues

"The Quarter Life Crisis Monologues," written and performed by Eli Walker, is comprised of 20 original serio-comedic, monologues depicting the complex, and at times existential, trials and tribulations of a modern-day twenty-something-year-old...in a, um, self-depricating sort of way.

The monologues dramatize topics such as the pain of falling in love with your boss or (and) doctor, the stress of internship interviews, and online dating. They address questions such as, What am I doing with my life? and Why didnt he text me backand why do I care? that quickly escalate to, What is consciousness, and how did it get inside of my body? with just a hint of, If social security will be gone by the time I retire, should I marry rich or just move to Canada?

With a BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and training from the Lee Strasberg Institute, Experimental Theatre Wing and Stonestreet Studios, as well as UCB and the Magnet, Eli Walker is a uniquely powerful actress equipped with the wisdom and experience to embody characters from all walks of life with confidence, empathy and grace.

Previous original one-woman shows include "STEPS" directed by Emmy-award winning Blake Bradford at the Wings Theatre in NYC, and "COUNTING," produced and performed at ETW in NYC. Eli has also worked as a writer and performer under the direction of Elizabeth Swados in "Political Snorts" at La Mama, and "Revolting Rhymes" at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

Eli is a Libra sun, Scorpio moon, and Aries rising. Just...so you know.
