11/30 JUICE! welcomes Technimatic (UK), Zero T (UK), Dyer+RevivalPDX
Our final session of the year on the 30th of November will NOT disappoint as we welcome Technimatic (Shogun Audio/UK) *AND* ZERO T (UK) *both* for their premier appearances in Portland. Yeh, you heard correctly! WHAT a double header this will be to close out the year with a blast!
Local support from our most recent resident addition to JUICE: Prestige Music Groups DYER (LA/PDX); and PDXs Revival (Soul Deep, Celsius, Think Deep/PDX). Our very talented Definition Positive will also be in the house to host the night. This is a STACKED lineup: expect incredible music start to finish on this night at Fifth.
Thank you as always for the support and attendance since 2005 to these very special drum and bass nights! You are all a part of this junglist community and make these nights as unique as they are. Shogun Audio / UK
Musically rich, emotionally charged drum & bass has fast become the trademark sound of Pete Rogers and Andy Powell aka Technimatic, now firmly established as a mainstay of the Shogun Audio roster.
Having started making music together back in 2008 as Technicolour & Komatic, Pete and Andy released their first single Preacher on Techniques sister imprint Worldwide Audio in 2009. The duo went on to showcase their liquid-infused blend of hyper-coloured D&B on labels such as Critical, Hospital, Spearhead, Viper, SGN:LTD and even the seminal Good Looking Records, with Technicolours own official remix of LTJ Bukems Music. Shogun Audio were eager to recognise the potential of Technimatic and signed them exclusively in 2012 to their sister imprint SGN:LTD. They immediately signaled their intent, dropping one of the most successful releases in the label's history, the formidable Intersection EP.
2014 saw Technimatic standing tall as fully-fledged members of Shogun Audios entourage of electronic music artists, touring the world with an ever-increasing DJ schedule and releasing the drum & bass album of the summer, Desire Paths. Their beautifully constructed debut LP received acclaim from Radio 1, Resident Advisor and Ninja Tunes Solid Steel, with Mixmag and Thump both ranking it in their top electronic albums of the year, culminating in a Best Album gong at the National Drum & Bass Awards 2015.
Endorsed by Annie Mac, Eddy Temple-Morris, Gilles Peterson, Mistajam and Phil Taggart to name a few, the duo released the equally impressive 'Flashbulb' EP in summer 2015, as well as providing top level remixes for the likes of The Ephemerals and Aprés. After extensive tours in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and throughout Europe, their eagerly awaited sophomore album Better Perspective was released in summer 2016, to widespread acclaim and a nomination for Beat Album at the Drum & Bass Arena Awards 2016.

ZERO T

After 15 years working with a huge spectrum of DnB greats, London based Irishman Cian McCann has long since established his place in the scene. From his early days in Dublin with the Bassbin label to working with the likes of Calibre, 4 Hero, Klute, Alix Perez, Rockwell and Noisia, he has never stood still. 2008's Cheap Shots LP for Total Science's CIA Records was a high point, with lead track Walk Away bringing vocalist Steo to the worlds attention. Also a noted remixer, he has retouched artists as diverse as Dillinja, Slam, Rolo from Faithless, Sabre, Lemon D and Lenny Fontana. Zero T's discography shows the diversity that his DJ sets have always shown, ranging from full vocal smoothness to darker, more technical styles. You are as likely to find his music on labels like Subtitles and Shogun as on Soul:r or Signature. 2010 saw two milestones reached; the Launch of Footprints, Zero T's own label, and compiling and mixing FabricLive052 for the esteemed London venue.
After a short period away from the scene, 2014 saw the return of Zero T as a producer/remixer and DJ with a Metalheadz debut and a spate of collaborations with the legendary Fierce on the highly regarded Quarantine. 2015 will see the long awaited sophomore album from Zero T, this time coming on Dispatch Recordings, entitled "Golden Section". You can also expect to see original tracks appearing on Soul:r, Shogun Audio , Quarantine, Metalheadz,Fokuz, Integral/Spearhead and Citrus, along with plenty of remixes for the likes of Metalheadz Lenzman/Noisia/Sample Answer and a host of labels from around the globe. He has also offered productions duties for forthcoming LP's from vocalists Ayah Marar, Riya and MC Sense,,, This year is already proving a very productive one for the Irishman.
