Make a Leather Mask

In this 6 hour workshop, you will learn to make one leather mask that will fit your face comfortably, even if you wear glasses!

No experience required, and all materials are included!

You'll learn to:

-Make a paper pattern
-Transfer your pattern to leather
-Cut out your mask design
-Texture and/or add a design to your mask
-Shape and dry your mask
-Paint and embellish your unique mask!

Equinox Studios is located in industrial Georgetown, just south of SODO and north of Boeing Field. Parking at Equinox Studios is free. If you prefer public transit, the #131 and #132 buses stop nearby.

You'll definitely want to bring layers of clothing! The studio is often a bit on the chilly side in cooler months, and extremely warm during the summer.

Also, the paint will wash off of your skin pretty easily but it will never wash out of your clothes. Ever. Wear something that you wouldn't be sad to get paint on.

Pack a lunch, or get food nearby at Katsu Burger or I Love Teriyaki. Theres also a new Starbucks three blocks away.

Bonus: The monthly ArtWalk at Equinox Studios begins at 6pm. You'll already be here, with plenty of time to get dinner before the festivities begin!
